From Raw Cotton to Duvet Covers-The Full Story- Part 2

Hello everyone, great to have you all back. Incase you are seeing this post for the first time, I recommend that you read yesterday's post too to know how we landed at the thread stage

After the fine thread is made, its converted into different counts of fabrics and by count I mean, the number of threads of yarn/inch of the fabric. The higher the count the more expensive the fabric

Yarn to Fabric
Making Flannel
Cotton Flannel is made by running the fabric into this machine which has metal bristles and brushes the cotton fabric making it into Cotton Flannel

Checking Fabric for slubs and any other loose threads
Storage of close to 100 millions meters of fabric
Big Factories have high volume storage facility as then they can take up immediate orders and execute fast deliveries

Tommorow's post is about colors and printing
